What is a contact call?

A contact meeting during Amår Career Day 2026 is a pre-booked, structured meeting between a student and a company. The meeting resembles a brief job interview and aims to establish an initial connection, identify mutual opportunities, and discuss potential collaborations such as internships, summer jobs, part-time work, or future full-time positions.

Implementation:

Students submit their CVs as a basis for the companies’ selection process.
The companies then choose which candidates they wish to meet.
All contact meetings are scheduled through Amår’s new app, which will be launched ahead of the fair.
In the app, students can see the exact time and location of their contact meetings, ensuring clear planning and overview.
During Career Day, the pre-booked meetings are held, typically lasting 15–20 minutes, in a professional and focused environment.

Contact meetings provide an efficient and high-quality platform where companies can identify future talent, and students have the opportunity to present themselves and take a first step into working life.
